Disney has just announced some fun information at their D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. The company will be replacing its Platinum DVD releases with its new Diamond Collection releases. These releases will come from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and will be high-end Blu-ray discs.
The current plan is for the company to release two movies on its Diamond Collection each year. This years will include “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” which is set to release on October 6th, while next year “Fantasia” and “Beauty and the Beast” have already grabbed the spots.
Each Diamond Blu-ray Disc will hold tons of new features for fans. The features include games, behind-the-scenes details about the movies, and more.
