Disney is looking for a new star, also known as the “Next Big Thing.”
The “Next Big Thing” is a talent search which includes five artists all between the ages of 12-years-old and 17-years-old. The winner of the talent competition will strike a deal with Disney Music Group.
The five artists will be featured on RadioDisney.com and the first singer will appear on the website on September 23rd.
On top of getting exposure on Radio Disney, the competitors will also be aired on the Disney Channel during commercials. The “Next Big Thing” commercials will be hosted by Disney’s very own Tiffany Thornton.

Hey guys, It’s Myka and Megan from The Sky Isn’t Our Limit. I play keyboard and sing and in the process of learning guitar. We’ve been trying to get our music out there, and we’ll be auditioning for American Idol for the next season. . I’m 17 and she’s 16. We have inspirational music. Our music is written from our hearts for kids who have trouble fitting in, who has lost someone, and love. I turn twelve in 2014! So far away….. But I wanna be a singer. Can you ever bend the rules? Just kidding I know you won’t. But I could sing before I could talk! When we did quizzes to see what job we would get I got singer. I just want everyone to know it was me win I win Disney’s NBT. But how do you enter. My friends and family were always there for me. I once made a band, but it didn’t work out. I really hope this is my big break but if it’s not I will try again. 2 years away….. UGH!
