We hear from the D23 Expo that Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance for the fans last night. Johnny came out on stage wearing the Captain Jack Sparrow outfit that has made him more famous than he could have ever imagined.
The audience gave him a standing ovation and waited to hear what surprise he had in store – which was his reason for coming to the expo!
Turns out that Disney has just decided on a name for the 4th movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The film is set to release in 2011 and stars none other than our favorite Pirate, Johnny Depp.

Well, I hope Disney paid Tim Powers some money. On Stranger Tides is Tim’s excellent novel about pirates, including Blackbeard, voodoo, and the Fountain of Youth.
