Who Sold The Most Albums This Year?
The numbers are in and we’re a bit concerned about how the JoBros and Demi Lovato are doing this year in album sales!
In the last 12 months:
- Taylor Swift sold 3.7 Million Copies of “Fearless”
- Miley Cyrus sold 1.5 Million Copies of the “Hannah Montana Soundtrack” AND 1.5 Million Copies of “Breakout”
- Disney Alum Britney Spears sold 1.6 Million Copies of her album “Circus”
- The Jonas Brothers sold 520,000 Copies of “Lines, Vines and Trying Times”
- Demi Lovato sold 240,000 Copies of “Here We Go Again”
So what’s the deal everyone? Are you over Nick, Joe and Kevin? What about Demi?

Most ppl doownload them soo i think thats why they didn’t sell many copies! Taylor swift is on the top? I bet the jonas brothers and miley will be on the top not taylor swift! I hate her songs! They are too slow! And faviourites of kids are miley and jonas brothers! How did she sold so much copies!

This kid at my school told me that Miley Cyrus sold more albums then Taylor Swift. Well, Miley’s two albums COMBINED dont even beat Taylor’s one album, so I say to him: Ha!
I love how the numbers are in, yet you guys continue to scream that Taylor Swift is awful. Curly-Katia, They are not all slow. get her album, hm? or if you’re lazy, look up “the other side of the door” “fearless” “hey stephen” “you belong with me” “tell my why” “forever and always” and “change” those ARE NOT slow. And sadly everyone, though you may dislike taylor, she is liked by all ages, all genders and is number 1.
Dena’s right. Miley is only liked by tweens. Taylor is diverse, talented, and much much much more experienced than Miley in music. And try researching before you sound ignorant. As Dena said, not all of Taylor’s songs are slow. I like them both, but Taylor is a much more seasoned musician.
