Honor Society answered your questions in honor of their album releasing today! Their new CD is titled “Fashionably Late,” and you can read more about it here.
You can also read about their concert tour here.
What was it like meeting the Jonas Brothers for the first time?
“It was awesome, they invited us out to a show they had last summer on their Burnin’ Up Tour. The guys were so down to earth, we immediately hit it off and started up the friendship that would lead to us working together musically.”
Will you be wearing more JORTS (Jean Shorts) during your next tour?
“Jorts will always be a staple in our wardrobe but probably more behind the scenes than on stage.”
What is your favorite state to perform in?
“Touring this summer opening for the Jonas Brothers all over the U.S. really gave us an added appreciation for ALL the states. They all have their own special charm; it would be impossible to pick a favorite!”
Do you have any pre-show rituals?
“We usually do vocal warm-ups, stretch and pray!”
What do you do if you get nervous before a show?
“We just focus on being excited instead of being nervous; it’s a subtle difference in thinking that erases all the nerves.”
What is the craziest thing one of your fans has ever done?
“This summer while on tour a fan had our autographs tattooed on her foot! We couldn’t believe it!!”
If you were on a deserted island, what would you take with you?
“We’d all take each other and start a rock band.”
What was your biggest inspiration for your upcoming album?
“Our fans were a huge inspiration. We wanted an album that they can be proud of and blast in their rooms and cars…we made this album for them.”
Did you write, or co-write any of the songs on your upcoming album?
“Absolutely. We wrote almost all of the album. We did do some co-writing with the Jonas Brothers as well which was an awesome experience.”
