If Platinum Studios felt by casting an asian actor as the lead wouldn’t generate any money, they are so wrong. In the movie The Last Emperor, it had an all asian cast except for Peter O’Tool and it won Best Picture, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Received Best Cinematography, Harold and Kumar movies are very popular and has almost doubled it’s profit, and don’t forget about Enter the Dragon movie. We all know Bruce Lee stole the show in Enter the Dragon, and the movie wouldn’t been the same without him. David Henrie should thank Bruce, because there wouldn’t be so much interest in martial art/action movies without his influence!

There are some 4 million asian americans, and not one has any acting talent? There are more asian actors overseas who are celebrities (some speak perfect english) and yet not one is capable of taking on this asian role? I don’t get it!!

In the comic books, Tommy Zhou, is a Chinese American boy. Why on earth did they pick a White actor (No offense to David Henrie) to play the part. The story and the character is about a Chinese American kid who is struggling to understand his cultural identity in America.

They cast the wrong person for the part. In my opinion, Aaron Yoo from the Twilight movies, should play the part of Tommy Zhou.

As a Chinese American, I am disappointed and outraged that once again, a Hollywood studio has chosen to ignore, leave out the Asian people in their movies.

Why can’t we have at least ONE Asian superhero. Black superheroes like “Blade” and “Hancock” have been successfully marketed.
Why can’t we show the real diversity of America in our movies ??

“Straining facepalm” oh hollywood you poor ignoramus, you are cleary fail to underestimate this situation, and yet you excuted such a useless and unexerated and bogus act in your matter, and why not care you say? well maybe this you’ll know , dispite the actor’s “called talent”
being played out in this undecicated poor casting production, why not a asian playing the character, and hollywood is always doing this lately, with dragonball, avatar, king of fighter, and so much being aquaded that they fail to use better judgement when aqiring these types, well my point is that the production and the casting for tommy zohu is stupid, the character is asian for goodness sakes (well i’m not asian, i’m african american, but i will not sit by there viewing your indiderious comment) , and being asian in a prodimoly setting in and Exubrating setting known as Hollywood *ack* *ack* they seem to turn a blind eye when delevoping such productions such as dragonball evolution and avatar, failing to cotorizie the fact the character of the orignal devlopent is saposed to be protrayed by the person of his likeness of the same efnicity, now that i proved you wrong i will check up more often placing such future comments of this acrociting production.
