ABC and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment are releasing the show “Life On Mars” to DVD on September 29th.

We watched the show this season and thought that it was one of the most unique shows on television! The plot is that after a hit-and-run accident in modern-day New York City, police detective Sam Tyler (played by Jason O’Mara), is brought back in time to 1973.

Sam must now learn how to police the city without any cell phone, computers and without any understanding of what happened to him.

He deals with characters that have no idea he is from the future and interacts with bad guys on a daily basis!

The multi-disc DVD box set includes all the episodes as well as Bonus Features including:
- To Mars and Back – viewers get to journey to “Mars” with the character Sam and the rest of the cast to see how the concept came about.
