Last night David Archuleta made a surprise appearance at the concert of his piano player from his tour, Kendra. David, as you will hear in the video above, says that he called Kendra asking for directions and by the end of the conversation the two decided last minute to do a song together at her concert!
David surprised the audience by appearing on the stage to perform “To Be With You.” Not only do we get to watch David and Kendra work their magic on stage together, but we also get to see David play the piano! Our heart melts!
David posted on Twitter about the night: “Made a surprise guest appearance in Kendra’s concert playing To Be With You! We haven’t played it or practiced it since tour lol.”

I have been a diehard fan of David’s for almost 2 years, and he still blows me away when he opens his mouth! His voice will take you to a place where you go “wait, what did he just do?” haha! The voice, the musicality, the passion and his spirit within are a gift. And I have seen Kendra with David in concert 5 times now – and she is an amazing musician as well. What a great decision to put her in his band! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video.

You can see David come out of his trance after singing! He is such an amazing talent. His ability to channel a song, to connect with the emotions, to tell the story on his face, is such a rare quality. And to have this ability at only 18 yrs old? Truly gifted he is. I love him dearly.
