Today marks the release date of “Winnie The Pooh: Seasons Of Giving” 10th Anniversary Edition on Disney DVD. The DVD is released by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and includes a full-length adventure full of the characters from the Winnie the Pooh stories:
- Piglet
- Tigger
- Rabbit
- Owl
- And More!
All the characters celebrate their friendship, family and the meaning of the holidays. The movie is set in the famous Hundred Acre Woods and all of our favorite characters are joined by their friend Christopher Robin.
The Walt Disney Company has announced today, September 29th, that it has launched its online Disney Digital Books initiative.
The online books are meant for children to read online in an interactive setting.
More than 500 children’s books are already up on the internet including books about:
- Hannah Montana
- Mickey Mouse
- Cars
- Toy Story
- Pirates of the Caribbean
Subscription to the Disney Digital Books service is $8.95 per month or $79.95 per year. Disney is using this online book service to promote reading in the youth market.
Not only can kids read Disney books online, but they will also be able to check words they don’t know in the databases built-in dictionary, take quizzes and create a customizable virtual room just for them.
The Disney Company has also made clear that more books will be added on an ongoing basis.

“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was released by Walt Disney Studios in 1937. The movie was the first full-length cel-animated feature in motion picture history AND not only the first animated feature film produced in the United States, but also the first produced in full color! Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is considered the first Walt Disney Animated Classic.
Disney has announced a new collection of DVDs called their Disney Diamond Collection. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the first movie to be released to this collection by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. The movie will hit stores on October 6th in a Blu-ray combo pack. The standard Definition DVD of the movie will be available for purchase on November 24th.
We watched the Blu-ray movie last night and we must admit that the sound and picture quality of the movie is amazing! This is a great movie to give away as gifts this holiday season.
Word is that Mitchel Musso’s music video for his next hit single “Shout It” will premiere today, September 29th during an episode of JONAS on the Disney Channel. The music video should be airing around 4:30 PM.
We found a behind-the-scenes clip of the video. This is in between the second and third take of the video shoot. The video had to be shot a final time because it turns out Mitchel’s tattoo was visible on camera, which is a major no-no for a Disney star.
“Shout It” features vocals from Mitchel’s brother Mason from the group Metro Station.
We can’t wait until the video comes out so we can share it with you!
Last night David Archuleta made a surprise appearance at the concert of his piano player from his tour, Kendra. David, as you will hear in the video above, says that he called Kendra asking for directions and by the end of the conversation the two decided last minute to do a song together at her concert!
David surprised the audience by appearing on the stage to perform “To Be With You.” Not only do we get to watch David and Kendra work their magic on stage together, but we also get to see David play the piano! Our heart melts!
David posted on Twitter about the night: “Made a surprise guest appearance in Kendra’s concert playing To Be With You! We haven’t played it or practiced it since tour lol.”
