Former star of the television show the “Hills,” Lauren Conrad, is having her first novel turned into a movie. The book is called “L.A. Candy” and the film will be produced by the same people who produced “Twilight.”
Current “Hills” star Stephanie Pratt made some suggestions about who should play her role in the movie (that is if she is represented):
“I would probably say Queen Latifah. I love her. I really love her. Someone more in my age… does that mean Christina Applegate is too old to play me too? OK, Ashley Tisdale.”

Not if it;s a high school disney-ish film, keep her away from anything like that she needs serious roles that really show off her acting ablities and I know she can be one of the best:)
I’m not a big Lauren Conrad fan. I read about this book, and quite honestly, it sounds simply ridiculous. Even the title– ‘LA Candy’? For heaven’s sakes, where are the wholesome books about coming of age and learning valuable lessons that people in generations past were reading? Our generation doesn’t need to be fed more crap about fashion, gossip, and fame than it already has.
