The Buzz Lightyear character from Disney / Pixar’s Toy Story franchise was sent into space over 15 months ago onboard the International Space Station as part of NASA’s collaboration with Disney as an educational outreach program.
As of this September Buzz finally returned home! He was welcomed back by Tim Allen who provides the voice for Buzz in “Toy Story,” and Buzz will also be honored with a parade down Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom tomorrow, October 2nd.
October 2nd is also the release date of “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2″ in theaters as a double 3-D feature.
