We watched “The Proposal” in theaters when it came out and thought it was hysterical! But there is something special about watching a movie on your own couch too – the second time we watched it at home we laughed harder than the first time! And now you can too.
Tomorrow, October 13th, marks the release date of “The Proposal” on DVD and Blu-ray from Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
“The Proposal” was directed by Anne Fletcher, and is available in Two-Disc Blu-ray Hi-Def and DVD editions, as well as Single-Disc DVD and Blu-ray editions.
The movie stars:
- Sandra Bullock
- Ryan Reynolds
- Betty White
- Mary Steenburgen
- Craig Nelson
- And More!
Bonus features for “The Proposal” include:
- Set Antics: Outtakes and Bloopers!
- Deleted Scenes
- Audio Commentary from the Director, Anne Fletcher, and writer, Peter Chiarelli
- An Alternate Ending
The plot of the movie is about a boss named Margaret Tate, played by Sandra Bullock, who terrorizes those who work for her – especially her assistant Andrew Paxton, played by Ryan Reynolds. That is, until her bosses threaten to deport her and she comes up with a scheme to marry Andrew and stay in the country!
Hilarity ensues when Margaret takes a trip home with Andrew to meet Andrew’s family – and tell them the two are engaged!
This is one of the best romantic comedies of all time – and if you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend it!
“The Proposal” is retailing in stores tomorrow for between $29.99 and $44.99 depending on the disc set you get.
