The Movie Cheri, starring actress Michelle Pfeiffer, is in stores on DVD today (October 20th). From Miramax Films and Buena Vista Home Entertainment the movie is about love and lust during the turn-of-the-20th century in Paris.

The movie stars:
- Michelle Pfeiffer
- Kathy Bates
- Rupert Friend

The movie is based off of a controversial book titled “Chéri” by French novelist Colette.

Michelle plays the character Lea who works as a courtesan. She agrees to educate Rupert’s character Cheri about Love. Cheri is the son of Kathy’s character.

The plot of the movie revolves around the fact that Lea is 30 years older than Cheri, but they develop an undeniable love for each other – taking both of them by surprise!

We thought this was a very entertaining movie with a great message and we would highly recommend it! Michelle Pfeiffer does such a great job in the movie and nobody can deny that Rupert Friend is a handsome actor and that Katy Bates is hilarious!
