It has been reported that ABC Family will be teaming up with Build-A-Bear Workshop this season to create an animated holiday special. This is the first time since the Build-A-Bear Workshop was created, 12 years ago, that the characters are coming to life on our TV screens.

The one-hour animated feature will be called “Holly and Hal Moose: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure.” The movie is based on books and webisodes that have already been created about the characters on the Build-A-Bear website.

The movie will premiere on ABC Family Tuesday, November 24th at 7PM ET/PT and there will also be an encore presentation Saturday, November 28th at 10 AM ET/PT.

“Holly and Hal” features the voices of Meaghan Martin and Jonathan Morgan Heit.
