Looks like we might be hearing a little bit less about our favorite Disney Celebrities’ projects in the future on the social networking site Twitter.
Both Disney and DreamWorks have set new rules for celebs online stating that there can no longer be confidentiality breeches on “interactive media such as Facebook, Twitter or any other interactive social network or personal blog.”
An entertainment lawyer tells the Hollywood Reporter, “This is just the beginning. Hollywood has a long history of controlling what talent says in the media. This is just a new area of media that hasn’t been controlled yet.”
Yikes! What do you think about this?

Honestly, I saw this coming from a mile away, and I have no problem with it.
Think about it from the perspective of Disney.
Disney sets up a press conference to announce that Miley is putting out a new album on “X” date. Nobody knows what the date is except Disney and Miley.
A few hrs before the conference, Miley tweets “My album comes out on “X” date.”
All of a sudden, the press conference is worthless since everybody now knows the date, and Disney would have then wasted $ holding said conference.
Austin is sooo right. I even found out ALOT about the new WOWP Season 3
