Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have barely talked recently over the social networking site Twitter, that is, until today!
Demi posted the following on her Twitter account: “@selenagomez I hope you can make it to my party this weekend 
”
The two posted a while ago that they missed each other, but nothing came of it since the two have been so busy and haven’t had time to spend hanging out.
We’re not sure what the story is with these two. They definitely are not BFF’s the way they used to be, which makes us super sad!

i personally think this “selena and demi are not friends anymore” is total and utter crap. maybe they don’t talk or hang out because they have conflicting schedules and stuff getting in the way. they may not be as super-duper close as they used to, but think of what they’ve been through together: THEIR WHOLE LIVES! they met on barney, became friends on barney, went to the same school. when demi was bullied, selena stood up for her and they ended up being homeschooled together.
so think about it. put yourself and you best friend in their situation. they might not be as close as they used to, but they’re not gonna just drop it like that. but hey, i don’t know. i’m just using my senses. someone needs to just up and ask them. and as others have said, its their own business so let’s just get out of it.
i get that everyone wants to know these things, its their personal life and it happens. think about it. you cant honestly say your still friends with everyone you use to be.
to answer your question i dont think that they are BFF anymore.

she was hesitant and said i have a lot of friends.
it was silent and ryan was like anyone we know taylor perhaps.
and she said which one….the interview went on.
she used to instantly say demi, she didnt here.

Well, both selena and demi are my role models. Not only for their styles and good public image figure as teens, but also for their friendship.
They met and started as friends way before they are famous.
It’s true that they met on barney.
But people might not have recognized them as the children on barney unless they said it was true right?
So let’s say we don’t know them until they became disney stars.
And after these long years they have been BFFs, they can’t be just end their friendship.
I mean, look at the other celeb who became another celeb’s friend after meeting on set or at the premiere.

i think it is really sad because me and my friend have been friends for a long time and we really looked up to them for being friends that long. i realy hope it is not over for good.

I don’t know what their situation is, but apparently Demi’s tweet was a bit of a scathing one because she knew that on that date, Selena was shooting her video for “Naturally”.
And in that “Ask Taylor” video, Demi was referring to Lautner not Swift because Selena is dating him and Demi begged her not to.
demi just said that because she knew that selena wasn’t able to come and demi didn’t invite selena
we all know its a private matter…but we’re just trying to help fix them even with this little consideration that regards to them..we love them and i know all of us has our own lives but still we’re just trying to help bcoz we love selena and demi and their friendship…so please…let’s help them as they help themselves either…and soon they could be friends

I am one of Demi and Selena’s best friends. We have been friends since Barney too; I was going to audition but pulled out because I was ill, but my mom took me anyway to go along with Demi; I was friends with her first.
So, for all you Demi and Selena fans, there is no gossip. Selly and Demz are still friends! However, they aren’t as close because there schedules are too different at the moment. Selena’s on WOWP and Demi on Camp Rock 2 and Sonny With A Chance.
I’m a friend of Miley’s too, and Miles isn’t getting in the way at all. I was surprised to see her Can’t Be Tamed on Britains Got Talent. She was great, but who knew my friend the sweetest 13 year old ever would grow into such a “wild”-styled 17 year old. But I still love ya Miles!
I love Demi and Selena too, and that is why I cleared up this rumour for them.

Demi loves Selena like a sister and Selena loves Demi like a sister too! Selena and Taylor just had their paths cross and hung out. Selena doesn’t chose favourites.
Yes, she’s always been closer to Demi and odds are she will be for a long time yet, but that doesn’t mean she doesnt like Taylor too. Selena didn’t try and replace Demi with Taylor; that was not her intention and still isn’t. The media is just blowing this out of proportion.

I just wanted to assure you all that just bc Selena and I didn’t Twitter e/o for a while really didn’t mean anything. We texted and called e/o a lot. We couldn’t meet up because Selena and I were very busy. Selena was doing “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Ramona and Beezus” and I was doing “Sonny With A Chance” and “Camp Rock 2!” I really love Selena and we’re still close. Maxine isn’t lying; she is one of my close friends too and she has been truthful about the situation.
I was talking about Taylor Swift when I said “Ask Taylor” it was just that Taylor and Selena had been hanging out more bc they were able to. I didn’t mean it nastily at all and Selena hasn’t been blocking me out. This was all a misunderstanding.

I think it’s just the fame and work that are tearing them apart. If you think about it, Demi is busy working on SWAC, Camp Rock 2, her music career and all that. While Selena is busy with Her clothing line, Monte Carlo, Ramona and Beezuz, her singing career and other stuff. Selena tweeted about a month ago that she just came back from Monte Carlo after 4 months! Which roughly takes us back to March? So Demi is stuck wherever she is, and Miley is probably the only person around her age to talk to because her and Joe broke up. So in my opinion, I hope and think that once all of the work and everything has settled down, they will ahve time to talk again and hopefully become BFFs again. And I know this sounds mean.. but.. Wouldn’t it be good if Miley goes away for her career for a few months, then Demi and Selena will have each other again ;D Then I’m sure they will become BFFs again

I think that Demi is actually better without Selena. I didn’t really like them before. But now that Demi is solo and with new people like the Camp Rock crew, she’s actually pretty cooler now. Especially since she’s more mature and she dated Joe Jonas. She has alot more experience now, and she doesn’t need Selena to take her far. She’s a much better celebrity and role model. Demi don’t even worry about it. You are so much better without her. She kept holding you back from roles and other activities that effected your friendship. Keep going on solo with a couple friends behind you and a happy family. It was cool once when you were younger and still getting used to Hollywood, but now your older, and a lot more people like you, like Miley Cyrus. I’m not so sure, but if you really think about it, it’s been a whole year,(or even more then that) since they’ve been seen together, or even spoken to each other for that matter.
