Disney Consumer Products has teamed up with Designer Mychael Darwin to create an all-new outerwear collection in honor of Disney’s newest princess, Tiana.
When asked about his design inspiration for the new collection, Mychael stated: “I drew from my own Southern upbringing, the richness of the film’s country landscapes and the beauty and grace from my own true life princess—my daughter. It was also important to me that I create a line that appeals to the inner desire of all women to be treated like royalty, specifically as they work hard to achieve their dreams.”
The pieces in the collection are denim and leather, and include hand-carved sterling silver buttons, custom printing, beads and more!
There is even a Limited Edition “Princess Tiana Jacket,” of which only 500 will be sold. Each of these limited edition jackets comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and is signed by Mychael.
