In a recent interview Zac Efron talked about one of the first auditions he did as a child.
“That was my first experience and I had just done the play ‘Peter Pan’ so I thought I was it I mean, who could be better. We were all quite young and I wasn’t even playing Peter I was playing John but I’d watched loads of actors play Peter so I showed up at the audition and I was dancing around and jumping off things and being crazy like lost boys you know. I ran around, I jumped up on my chair and started singing the lines and then she interrupted me, she goes, ‘You’ve never done this before have you?’ and I said, ‘no, not at all.’ And she said, ‘OK, you can go.’”
Zac admitted to crying after he was rejected. Aww, we’re sorry Zac! But look at where you are now!

Remember back when Miley Cyrus took a picture in which her and the majority of the people in the photo pulled the corners of their eyes to make them look squinty?
Well, a lawsuit was filed against Miley by Lucie Kim who claimed that Miley violated a law that prohibits businesses from discriminating against minorities.
Just last week a judge determined that the lawsuit should be thrown out, because Miley herself is not a business, and therefore Miley did nothing illegal.
Do you agree with the judges decision?
Disney’s Cody Linley has decided against taking a role in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Starstruck” and will instead be taking his acting skills to Broadway for the show “Over Here!”.
Cody’s rep said about Cody’s choice: “The start dates on both kept shifting and Over Here! was contractually in first position, so he had to give up Starstruck.”
The musical will be opening next year – will you be checking out Cody’s performance?
