Taylor Swift has a new challenge on her plate – making greeting cards!
Taylor will be the most recent writer added to the American Greeting Corp. list of writers. She will work with the company to create a line of greeting cards, stationary, gift packaging and more – all of which will be in stores in the Spring of 2010.
Taylor said about the experience: “My idea of a great song is a song that says how I feel better than I could. I feel the same way about greeting cards. I’ve always been fascinated by feelings and how we express them to each other. Getting to write and design these cards is a wonderful experience.”

Nickelodeon has swooped in and snatched up the writer of Disney’s “High School Musical,” Peter Barsocchini.
Peter will be making a half-hour comedy pilot about summer camp for the Nickelodeon channel.

Wow! Happy Belated Birthday to Mickey Mouse who turned 81-years-old yesterday!
While his figure never seems to age, Mickey made his debut on November 18, 1928 in a black and white cartoon from Walt Disney titled “Steamboat Willie.”

Is it just us, or are you really excited about this news too??? “My Little Pony” is going to become a new TV series brought to us by Hasbro Studios and Discovery.
It turns out Hasbro Studios decided to push forward with the series after the Disney Channel ran the one-hour special “My Little Pony: Twinkle Wish Adventure,” which we’re sure means they got a good number of viewers!
Hasbro Studios president Stephen Davis had this to say: “The runaway success of ‘My Little Pony’ on the Disney Channel affirms our belief in the long-term value of this project.”
