Disney’s “Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws” Review

Santa Buddies Movie Blu-ray DVD

Just in time for the Holidays Disney’s “Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws” is on Disney DVD and Blu-ray.

We instantly fell in love with all of the main characters:
- B-Dawg
- Budderball
- Buddha
- Mudbud
- Rosebud
- And Puppy Paws!

One of our favorite characters in the movie was Tiny. Her voice is done by Kaitlyn Maher who was a finalist on America’s Got Talent. She’s the only character who sings in the movie and after watching her performance on America’s Got Talent we couldn’t help but say “Awww” out loud when her part came on!

“Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws” is about Puppy Paws, the son of Santa Paws who decides he would rather be a normal puppy than a puppy in the North Pole helping out with Christmas. After seeing a picture of Budderball on the Naughty List, Puppy Paws heads on an adventure to visit the Buddies.

When he gets there the Buddies don’t believe that he is from the North Pole, even though his Christmas magic keeps showing itself to the Buddies!

After Puppy Paws gets caught by the dog catcher, played by Christopher Lloyd (from Back to the Future) he realizes that the puppies who have been caught still believe in Christmas even though everyone else has stopped believing. This pushes Puppy Paws to help everyone else believe in Santa again.

Puppy Paws and the Buddies travel to the North Pole to help bring Christmas to everyone around the world. And they succeed!

This new Disney movie has such a great message, and is a great movie for families. Will you be picking up a copy of “Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws” on Disney Blu-ray or DVD?

  1. This is awesome news for Kaitlyn Maher. When we first heard her singing acapela rendtion of “Somewhere Out There” it reminded me of all the children who’s father’s are in the military in faraway lands. So soulful and sad. My daughter and I were thnking at the time, “Disney should offer her a role in a movie”. I’m so glad that happened. And a movie about dogs is perfect. I would have loved to have seen her on the set. What a doll!
