I look forward to the 25 days of Christmas programming every year, but this may be the end of my viewing. MICKEY MOUSE & DENNIS the MENACE??? And HARRY POTTER???? Harry Potter is everything opposite of Christianity!!!! Christmas is the celebration of OUR LORD’s birth – if people don’t like it, let them get their own holiday, but please don’t ruin ours!!! I hope you re-think your programming next year and wish you and yours a very Merry and BLESSED Christmas!
I agree since when is Harry Potter anything remotely close to CHRISTMAS SHOWS ? I am waiting for Santa, rudolph, frosty, elf and any other christmas type movie????? How is Harry Potter a christmas show ? Very disappointed especially seeing as its on ALL DAY for two days now ….
Get off your high horse Luanne, if you do some research of history you will see that the Christians celebrated Christmas on December 25th since that was when the Romans had their Winter Solstice weeklong feast. Being a Christian myself, I don’t think we own the month of december when it comes to celebrating. Although, I agree ABC could do better than Harry Potter and Dennis the Menace as Christmas classics. Just try to be respectful of other people’s beliefs.
