Miley Cyrus’ song “The Climb” was nominated for a Grammy this week, but it was pulled yesterday and replaced by the song “All Is Love” from the movie “Where the Wild Things Are.”
Apparently Miley’s team isn’t surprised the song was pulled since it was submitted to the category of Best Song Written for a Soundtrack by mistake.
No word yet on why it was pulled. Thoughts?

it was pulled because it wasnt originally written for the movie.
Yeah, what hugearchiefan said.
According to MTV:
A spokesperson for Cyrus could not be reached for comment, but a source close to the singer told MTV News on Thursday (December 10) that the tune — which was not written by Cyrus — was not specifically penned for the movie, thereby making it ineligible for the award. The nomination was withdrawn by Cyrus’ camp the day after the Grammy noms were announced last week, when the error was discovered. A statement about the withdrawal was expected at press time.
How is a song submitted to the Grammy’s by mistake? I mean you would think someone would know it was a mistake before they give it the nomination…..
