Ah! This is such exciting news for any Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” fan! “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie” is on DVD this December 15th!

The DVD, put out by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, comes in a special DVD package, which includes a Color-Changing Wishing Stone With Clip for a limited time only! Also on the DVD you can watch Insider Exclusive details about the movies special effects, stunts, props, animal actors and more – all revealed by your favorite stars of the movie!

The DVD is set to retail for $29.99 and is rated G.

The film stars some of our favorite actors from the Disney Channel, including Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jake T Austin.

Selena’s character, Alex Russo, is upset at the beginning of the movie because her mother wont let her do all of the things she wants to do – like going to parties and staying over her friends house, AND making her go on the family’s vacation!

Alex is so upset when her family drags her on vacation, that while in the hotel she gets in a fight with her mom and tells her that she wishes her and her dad would never have met! And not only that, Selena is holding onto the Family Wand when she says this to her mom – which makes her wish come true!

When Alex and her brothers realize that their parents no longer know, or remember each other, they have to work to track down the Stone of Dreams which can grant anyone’s wish. Alex hopes to find the stone and wish that everything would go back to the way it was before she fought with her mom.

The villain in the movie is really funny! He goes on the adventure with Alex and her brothers because he wants the stone for himself – but he is pretending to help them get it in order to help their family. The villain has a parrot sitting on his shoulder throughout the whole movie, but in fact the parrot is the one who wants the stone because she was once a human! She hopes to find the stone and turn back into her previous form – but you’ll have to watch the movie to find out who ends up getting the stone in the end!

We thought this was a fantastic Disney Channel Original Movie and we are so excited it is on DVD so we can watch it whenever we want!
