Roy Edward Disney, the nephew of Walt Disney, and the son of Walt’s brother Roy, passed away today at the age of 79-years-old.

Roy had been fighting stomach cancer for the past year.

He was a businessman, filmmaker, sailor, and philanthropist who worked with The Walt Disney Company for 56 years.

R.I.P. Roy Edward Disney.
