Disney held a contest to find its Twin Town in the United Kingdom and thanks to 20-year-old Rebecca Warren, Swindon in Wiltshire has been named Walt Disney Worlds first “Twin Town.”

In order to win, Rebecca had to showcase elements of Swindon that reflect key aspects of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

For winning, Rebecca will take a trip to Walt Disney World with both her niece and her nephew this January, and will get to meet the Mayor of Main Street USA.

Rebecca will also help unveil a special plaque designed by Disney Imagineers which states “Walt Disney World Twinned with Swindon.”

Swindon will be honored in the United Kingdom Pavilion at the World Showcase in Epcot through this year.
