Miley Cyrus Harper’s Bazaar Cover, Spread And Interview
Miley Cyrus graces the cover of the upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine. In her interview with the magazine Miley talks about herself as a role model as well as her upcoming movie “The Last Song.”
On being a role model Miley says: “My job is to be a role model, and that’s what I want to do, but my job isn’t to be a parent. My job isn’t to tell your kids how to act or how not to act, because I’m still figuring that out for myself. So to take that away from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That’s just life.”
And about her movie “The Last Song”: “People will be really surprised when they see it. It’s pretty deep. I want to do edgier movies – movies where you walk away feeling fulfilled.”

i am not a miley hater, i try to pray for her often. however, i do still think she is a bad romodel. and if you think being a romodel is about being beautiful, you have never been more wrong.

i never said that being beautiful makes her a good role model, i said that she looks beautiful in those pictures.
she’s a role model to me and this is because she’s 17 and nearly a billionare. that shows that if you put your mind to it, you can do anything, also her lyrics are beautiful and i can relate to her on a personal level with me being the same age. she doesnt take no bullshit from the media or from people and for someone of 17 she is very strong and mature.
I agree, that cover looks Like it was photoshopped very badly. And in the other pictures, maybe she looks “beautiful” because you can’t see her face. This article just proved to me how stupid she really is. Her movie looks like the heartwarming kind, which is neither “edgy” or fulfilling for anyone – except Tweens. It seems like she thinks of herself as an adult but she is so naive and immature. I hope she doesn’t survive the jump from child to adult star, I don’t know how much more I can take.
The fact that she’s really wealthy doesn’t have so much to do with the fact that she “put her mind to it” – more like her daddy helped make her famous enough to catapult her into a world where she is exploited at every moment in order to make as much money off of her as Disney possibly can. So, basically, she sold her soul for money and fame. Excellent role model.

and she got the part at disney because she can act and sing and she looks good and is marketable. it has nothing to do with her dad.

I will agree with you that she hired because she was marketable, and her voice, in comparison with other Disney channel stars, is actually pretty good. But she can’t act by any stretch of the imagination. And she is not beautiful. Pretty? Sure, when she’s all dolled up for a premiere or something. But on a regular day, she looks like an average suburban girl. I see nothing special about her puffed up face and hair extensions.
Her dad WAS famous. In the early 1990′s, he brokeout with that annoying song. After that however, he never really got anything that big again. Sure, his daughter’s fame has easily eclipsed his own, but it generates a bit of interest if the Achey-breaky heart guy’s daughter is trying to be an actress.
Trust me, youre not “hearing” jealousy ( though I think you meant reading, unless you can hear voices talking to you). You’re “hearing” frustration that anyone this annoying, stupid, and unclassy as her can be famous nowadays.
