Nick Jonas debuted a new song he wrote at his concert last night with his band The Administration. The song is called Stay, and Nick said about the song on Twitter:
“Played a new song I wrote last night, at the show tonight called ‘Stay’. Its about fallin for someone. I hope you like it when you hear it.”

If his fans are more interested in the gossip behind what may or may not be an inspiration for a song than the music itself proves that he is nof a legitimate musician who will have a very short career indeed when the Tweens grow up and there’s a new guy to crush on.
I think it’s for Selena. He just wrote the song and he hasn’t seen MIiley for a long time while Nick’s been with Selena. If this song was about Miley, he should’ve wrote it a long time ago when he was with Miley. But then again, this song doesn’t have to be about someone…

The song is definitely for Serena. On her twitter earlier this year she said that her favorite song of the moment was “Stay” by Safetysuit and that her favorite line of the song was “I’ll be here in the morning if you just ask me to Stay” and then Nick wrote this song. It just seems to make sense that it is definitely for Serena. So sweet!

i love this song it is my all time favorite song written by nick. let it be with who it is about because he wants to keep it private because it is very personal. i can relate to this song because it reminds me of a friend of mine so thats all we really need is to be able to connect with the song and ocnnect with him. he is truely amazing and a talent to all.
I think that STAY is about Miley Cyrus because…. stay is about someone who’s either walking away from him or getting someone back. and people shouldnt even think it’s for selena gomez, just because she was there, just because she was crying. “Niley” fans can drop on their knees. Not everything he writes is about Miley. Get a life and move on. It seems as if you guys are the only ones in their relationship…that ended YEARS AGO! She’s not coming back (she said so, herself) and he’s not coming back (he said so, himself). It’s time to let things be!

Miley then wrote a reply song called ‘stay’ but said it was about Liam to avoid any drama. I don’t believe Nick would write this song about Selena as it has so much feeling and heart in it, and yet he doesn’t even bother to follow her on twitter. The reason why Selena was probably crying is cause its an emotional song, I know a lot of people that have cried over this song and from what I know Nick did not write it about them. I think it’s a beautiful song and whoever its for is lucky, but its just my opinion.
