Was Allison nervous when she tried out for American Idol? “I auditioned for ‘American Juniors’ and didn’t make it, so I was a little scared waiting to hear back after I auditioned for ‘American Idol.’”

How does she feel about Ellen DeGenerous being a judge on this upcoming season of AI: “I can’t wait to see what she’s got. I think she’s going to be funny no matter what.”
A Radio Disney listener wanted to know what Allison’s favorite food was, she said: “Barbecue ribs…We were in Memphis and David Cook’s brother hooked us up with ribs, which were some of the finest ribs.”
And what did Allison say about her song “Don’t Waste The Pretty”? “Not to waste your time on people or things that aren’t worth it.”
