Alrighty, here’s yet another rumor about why Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner broke it off. We’re not sure where this rumor came from but we thought it was too good not to share with you and get your thoughts.
So some news sites are saying that Selena Gomez has known for a while that she wanted to get back with Taylor L, and was upset that her new BFF had taken him after she broke up with him.
Keep in mind that while Selena claims she was never in a steady relationship with Taylor L they were spotted out and about a bunch when she was in Canada filming for her movie “Ramona and Beezus.” However, Taylor L supposedly “cheated” on Selena, prompting her to go on numerous talk shows saying that boys hadn’t been very nice to her lately.
Regardless of whether or not you believe that Selena and Taylor L ever dated originally, it seems she may want him now.
Anyway, here’s where it gets pretty interesting. Sources are saying that Selena pulled John Mayer into the mix, getting him to record a song with Taylor S and basically distract her so Selena could find a way back into Taylor L’s life. It’s also been said that John Mayer has been hitting on Taylor S!
Seems a bit far-fetched to us, but hey, it’s Hollywood. Thoughts?

Yeah, I read it somewhere else. SO ridiculous, it’s funny. Selena (17) convinces 32year old Mayer to record a song just so she could get her man back? That makes sense…NOT. Besides, it’s also said Tay S broke up with Lautner ’cause there was no chemistry. She’s a bit complicated, but that’s probably the storyto believe. Either way, I love Tay S! <3

hmm…i remember reading about taylor L. cheating on selena, which may have been why she broke it off. it sounds all believable except for the Jmayer part>>yeah not buying that BS and also, it didnt look like it caused a problem b/w tay s. & sel. This is really a stupid gossip. Selena is Swift’s friend. Selena is a nice person, she won’t do that to anyone. Selena and Swift will never do something like this. And if Selena still love Lautner she will never break up with him, but they broke up. I like Selena and Lautner, but no love between them. So, what can I do??? When Swift with Lautner, That’s really a good news. Because I like Swift and Selena. Don’t make a gossip like this. I can jump from the cliff if it really happened.

John Mayer doesn’t really do duets and stuff like that on his albums… He brought Taylor in because he considers her a friend. He would’ve never let a 17-year-old convince him of doing something like that. Come on, people, use your brains.
That is a really stupid rumour. I highly doubt that Taylor L would cheat. He seems like such a nice person. Although i am glad that Taylor S and Taylor L broke up (they never worked), Selena wouldn’t have done anything like that to Taylor S. They are BFF’S. But that’s just my opinion.

I’m a biggest fan of the couple ‘Duo Taylor’ (I love they both). I’m really happy,when I know that Taylor L and Swift was in a relationship!! The media will do anything to get money this is so not true. Considering Swift and Gomez are like best friends I dont think she would try and do that.
