It has been announced that country sensation Taylor Swift was the biggest selling artist of 2009 in the United States – narrowly beating out Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle.

While Susan sold 3.1 million copies of her album “I Dreamed A Dream,” Taylor sold 3.21 copies of “Fearless.”

In third place was Michael Jackson and Lady GaGa came in fourth.
