Just after news of Oren Aviv’s departure, Sean Bailey has been named the head of production at Disney’s Studio.

Many are surprised by the choice to put Sean in the role as he has no experience as a studio executive.

Sean will report to Walt Disney Studios Chairman Rich Ross – who is also relatively new to running a studio.
