10 Things I Hate About You: Volume One DVD Review

On January 12th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released the ABC Family Series “10 Things I Hate About You: Volume One” to DVD.

The series was created by the same director who worked on the original movie “10 Things I Hate About You” and is about the sibling rivalry between Kat (played by Lindsey Shaw) and Bianca (played by Meaghan Martin).

While Kat is smart and feisty and lives to stand out in high school, Bianca is a sweet, social butterfly who will do anything to fit in. Meaghan looks much more made-up than we are used to seeing her in Camp Rock because her character in this series wants to be like the most popular girl in school.

Behind the scenes: Sisterly Love

Both lovely ladies have different views about high school, and about love and relationships.

Just like in the hit movie, Kat meets a mysterious high school student, played by Ethan Peck and viewers will watch the relationship these two have develop over time through season one of “10 Things I Hate About You.” Ethan reminds us much more of Robert Pattinson than of Heath Ledger who played the character Patrick Verona in the film.

We are huge fans of the original movie “10 Things I Hate About You” and this television series made us really excited! We watched the DVD the entire way through and couldn’t stop! The characters are funny and easy to relate to and the drama is exciting and thrilling in this “10 Things I Hate About You: Volume One” DVD.

We love that actor Larry Miller came back to the ABC Family series to play Mr. Stratford, father of Kat and Bianca. Larry was in the original “10 Things I Hate About You” movie.
