Orlando Bloom will not be returning for the 4th Pirates movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”
When asked if we would be returning he answered: “Will’s swimming with the fishes. Not this time. No. No. No.”
Kiera Knightley won’t be returning either!
So sad! Now it looks like it’s just Johnny Depp in the upcoming movie plus a cast full of new faces!

I have a feeling that the fourth one will be very different! I wish they would both stay but one can only hope. I am sure the new cast mates will make a great addition to the team and create an adventurous movie!
I think orlando bloom and keira knightley should stay in. The movie would be nohthing with out them. Orlando keira and johnny are the main ppl who made the movies fun. They are like the three best friends. No one wants to c penelope cruz and the other guy w.e his name is we want orlando and keira I say they come back because they r a huge part of it they were in the movie since the beginning now penelope cruz and that guy joined becuz they know it would make a lot of money well the movie would make money but it would make so much more with orlando bloom and keira knightley I say they came back and I know many ppl who agree with me bring them back and kick out penelope cruz and that other guy don’t get me wrong penelope cruz is a good actress in some movies becuz she does have a talent but I just don’t think the movie is for her but she is talented I can’t say the same for the other guy cuz I don’t think I have ever seen one of his movies but.from what I hear he’s good too but I WANT WE WANT ORLANDO AND KEIRA BACK NOW!
Oh no…so it IS true. Orlando Bloom will not be in the 4th “Pirates”. Well…then…the movie won’t be at all the same. SO many of us favored HIM; playing Will Turner, over Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. And…we disliked it a lot that the news media paid all the attention to Johnny Depp and nearly nil to Orlando Bloom with the other 3 films.. We couldn’t blame him IF this had something to do with his decision to stay out of the new film?….as well as the fact that they killed him off…rather than Captain Jack Sparrow in the last film?; though, being a humble actor, he probably rationalized that this was for the best. Without a doubt, HE was the primary action hero; along with Keira Knightley; who is not returning also. They were our main attractions. Well…..many of us will not be attending the 4th installment. No matter which actors they try to replace him with… No Will Turner….no US for the 4th “Pirates”. We hope that Disney Studios comes to realize the mistakes; by lack of enthusiasm from movie goers. Now…we can only hope that Orlando Bloom gives us other hero stories on film. We miss him.
When I looked up the new Pirates of the Caribbean, I thought it was a typo when I read the cast list. I wish it was, to be honest! Already, it was disappointing that Jack Davenport’s character died in the third movie, but now two main characters are gone as well? I would rather see a conclusion to this series with Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley (whether it be one last movie or a cliffhanger at the end of the third movie) instead of another two or three movies with these new characters. I think with this fourth movie, the series will lose it’s lustre and a lot of fans. Of course, I’ll probably watch it out a love for the first three movies… but I doubt it’ll be worth anything more than renting.
I think they should be in the newest movie, i would of loved to see how their marriage worked out. i also think they are great actors/actress and that they were good for the part.
I think they could of arrange orlando and kiera into the movie somehow. i will be disappointed.
