Kristen Bell took to Rome to film the movie “When In Rome” alongside Josh Duhamel.
Kristen talked about what it was like to be in the ancient city. She said that all of the ancient wonders there “really put the whole world into perspective. When you wake up in the morning and you think your life is so important, it’s like, ‘Oh, wait a minute, people have been around forever.’ Here are structures that were erected hundreds of years ago that I had nothing to do with.”
Kristen also complained that the coffee was very expensive in Rome!
“I was furious every day because I’m very thrifty, I’m smart with my money. You’d order a cappuccino and it was $8, which is fine. If you put it in perspective, I’m not crazy, Starbucks is 5. It’s $8 there and that’s because it’s great coffee and they’re Italian and they can charge whatever they want. But then since the dollar was half the euro, I ended up paying $16 per cup of coffee. My God. I was stealing muffins from the continental breakfast, anything that I could do to save money in Rome.”
Haha, we love her!
