It was announced last week that the Walt Disney Company was closing down Miramax Films, however now it seems that Disney would be more interested in selling the company – which could net upwards of $700 million.
The sale of the company would also come with the sale of its 700-film library.
Rumor has it that Summit Entertainment is interested in buying the company, but there is a short list of other groups interested as well.
