Amanda Seyfried And Channing Tatum’s “Dear John” Vs Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth’s “The Last Song”
Both movies “Dear John” and “The Last Song” were based off of novels by author Nicholas Sparks.
Dear John stars Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum, and The Last Song stars couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.
Dear John came out recently, while The Last Song doesn’t come out until March, but Amanda and Channing start a bit of drama in the video clip above when they say that if the movies were coming out on the same weekend they would try to sabotage “The Last Song” – yikes!
“The Last Song” is not based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. It was a screenplay first, written specifically for Miley Cyrus. Then he wrote the book.
Both movies are very good but in terms of depth, I would recommend Dear John. It talks about sacrifice and love in the time of War. Will you do your duty for your country or will you stay behind with your love.
And will you do everything just to make her happy even though the sacrifice will hurt you?
Its a love story that spans a question, on how much do you love a person even though there are things hindering you to be together…
