70 years ago on February 7, 1940 the classic Disney movie “Pinocchio” premiered.
The animated movie was based on the story “Pinocchio: Tale of a Puppet” by Carlo Collodi.
Pinocchio was just the second film from Walt Disney Animated Classics – right after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The movie is about a wooden puppet named Pinocchio who is brought to life and begins his journey of trying to become a real boy! But he’ll need all the help he can get from many of his friends, including the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Figaro, Cleo, and more!
