Ok, this is beginning to be upsetting! Numerous actors continue to be “rumored” to be slated to play Spider-Man in the upcoming “Spider-Man 4″ movie, but it turns out that so far these are all just “rumors” and have no validity.
It was reported first that Taylor Lautner was asked to play the role, and then Zac Efron and most recently Logan Lerman, but it turns out none of these are actually going to play the part – unless something changes.
A representative of Sony Pictures said about the part: “No offers have been made, nor have any business discussions been made with Lerman.”
So….who’s getting the part!
The movie is expected to hit theaters in 2012, which means there’s not that much time to find an actor for the role!

Zac Efron PLEASE We’ll all be waiting for him to break into song and dance. Stop thinking with your eyes and think about the fact it is based on a comic. I think out of everyone they rumor Lerman, Shia or the kid for the Terminator series have the the closest look for the part. I have felt that Jake Gyllenhaal would be perfect for the role since day one. He looks the part and has the ability to pull it off. Another would be James McAvoy from Wanted he would also be a better choice then everyone they are talking about. I Agree that Toby would be nice but it has been mentioned numerous time now that part 4 is scrapped and there starting all over from the beginning.
