Selena Gomez took the time at one of her recent concerts to explain her song “I Won’t Apologize” from her album “Kiss & Tell.”
“I Won’t Apologize” is the one song on her album that Selena wrote herself and she says that it’s about changing yourself for a boy, something she once did, and learning the lesson that you don’t have to change yourself, and saying that you won’t apologize for who you are.
Any chance this song is for Nick Jonas? We hear she changed herself for him the first time they went out!

It doesn’t always have to be about a guy, you know.
Sounds to me like this song was about her friendship with Demi. They met when they were what, eight? Then they each developed their own personality, style, etc. which are at odds with each other – hence Selena’s feeling “sorry for changing.”
And of course, from the first line I got the impression that she’s talking about Demi’s burgeoning friendship with Miley. Selena got picked up by Disney’s before Demi did, so it makes sense that Selena knew Miley first and was the one introducing her to Demi, etc. Then at point when the three of them were hanging out together, Demi got a phone call and told whoever it was that she was “with her best friend.”
yeah… except she said she changed for a boy. So unless you’re calling Demi a boy… failure.
I’m so tired of that “…for Nick Jonas?” thing….everything what Selena does, writes, or says it means that it is for Nick and everything what Nick does, writes or says it also means that it is for Selena????
There are other people in their life snd past too….
I would have to say the song is ’bout Nick. She said @ one of her concerts that the song was ’bout something that happened to her earlier in the year and that she changed herself, she didn’t change herself for Demi, she changed herself for Nick. She even said so, that she changed the way she looked, dressed, and talked, and didn’t even realize it until or family and close friends said something. Then she realized the mistake she made, and vowed that no guy or anyone is worth changin’ yourself for.

ok i think that alot of girls change themselves for nick. miley did it and now selena is doing it but funny how he always breaks there heart.i am happy that selena is dating that boy from all star weekend what ever and miley has liam

thought I absolutely love demi, but I symphathise with her for being so sad.
& it’s even worse as an actress that she can’t say what she truly feels. I don’tknow what it’s like there, but I hope they can be friends cos they are MADE FOR EACH OTHER

If you go to a the official music video the pics. say it’s for Taylor Lautner and how he used her to get to Taylor Swift……. but I could be wrong.
