ABC’s LOST Season 6 Spoiler Alert

February 17, 2010 |  by

E! News got the chance to talk with Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Michael Emerson (Ben Linus) about ABC’s LOST Season 6 – and they revealed some possible spoiler alerts!

Both actors say that death is coming on the show, with Jorge elaborating:

“It’s gonna be pretty heartbreaking, but as we start approaching the end of filming because we’re down to the last six [episodes], people are going to start dropping like flies…It’s the end! You know, so they can totally start wiping people out!”

And Michael adds:

“The path to the end is strewn with casualties.”

Oh, we don’t like the sound of this!

E! also had some guesses as to who could take over Jacob’s position as the island’s protector – and that this could in fact mean protecting the entire world, rather than just the island.

Here are the candidates names still on the wall of the cave we were taken to last night with “Locke” and Sawyer:

4. “Locke”
8. “Reyes”
15. “Ford”
16. “Jarrah”
23. “Shephard”
42. “Kwon”

Why weren’t we shown Kate’s name?

E! made the interesting point that while the character Claire’s last name “Littleton” is crossed off the cave wall, her son Aaron is still a contender because his last name could be “Shephard” since Claire and Jack are related. We think this might be a bit far fetched, but we do think that their other suggestion that Aaron is the mysterious boy who warned “Locke” on the island is possible. The young boy could have also been a young Jacob.

Another question we have, is why could Sawyer and “Locke” see the young boy, but Richard Alpert could not?

A Disney Dreaming reader also made a good point that we haven’t seen Charles Widmore lately and we all know he’s going to have something to do with the final few episodes. In addition, we’re hoping Desmond comes back too!

What ideas do you all have for what might be going on? Let the guessing game begin!
