Great news, and I love seeing all the others David will be singing with. However, could you have selected a more updated photo? Although very handsome and so on… it is David from 2 years ago. There is a world of difference between 17 and now 19!
This is a wonderful thing for David to be a part of. BTW more info “The recording will take place tomorrow, Friday at American Airlines Practice Court in Miami, Florida taking advantage of the situation of the Premios Lo Nuestro and will be released on March 1 on the Cristina Show on Univision. David tweeted he’s leaving for the East Coast and would come back to LA for more song writings. Hope we can see a glimpse of the recording.
I’m very excited and I’m not alone. Many if not all of David’s fans are happy. Thanks for posting the news.
I’m feeling like “Zero Gravity” right now! To know and hear that David will be singing brings me so much joy! This is just amazing…as I know how much David embraces this part of his heritage, he loves to sing, his fans love to hear him sing, and he gets to be part of this amazing charity event along with some amazing other artists…well it’s just totally AWESOME! I can’t wait to see the video and purchase the song! I just love David Archuleta…and his voice…and his music! Yippee!
It is so great that David gets to sing in this Spanish version! He has such a wonderful voice with so much depth and emotion. Plus, he has already given money to this worthy cause and answered the phone during the Haitian Telethon. Way to go David!!

I’m very excited!!!
AWESOME!!!!! I’m so glad David is involved in this wonderful project. He’s an amazing artist, human being, and philanthropist. David is very proud of his latin roots and we are VERY proud of him!
David es un gran orgullo para los latinoamericanos, para los hispanos en general. Felicitaciones David!
I am so happy that David got this much-deserved invitation for
a wonderful project like this. He’s a one-of-a-kind vocalist and one of the best there is today. The recent remake of the WATW was disappointing IMO. David’s incredible voice, together with those of other amazing talents will surely be EPIC!!!
Oh, my gosh!! So excited!!
I was so surprised and bummed when I saw that David wasn’t asked to be a part of the new ‘We Are the World’ remake. Then, the song turned out poorly, and I was almost relieved.
I am sooo excited that he’s been asked to be part of the Spanish version of the song, and like everyone else I would be on cloud nine if he got a solo part. He won ‘Male Rising Star’ at the Alma Awards, so it would only make sense. With him as a participant, I’m thinking the song’s gonna be epic!!!
The caliber of the artists listed is very high indeed, and I know David must feel honored to be included. I agree with nancy that the recent English language remake was subpar as compared with the original, and I’m actually glad David is not connected to it. I have a gut feeling the Spanish language version will be much better, especially now that David will be taking part!
wooohoooo! I cant wait!! Way to represent los latinos!
