In addition to a new Little Mermaid ride and Dumbo circus tent which are renovations planned for the Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom theme park, we have heard from a source at Disney that there will also be a Beauty and the Beast ride.
We knew that they are in the process of building the Beast’s castle – and that there would be a restaurant inside the building – but hearing about a ride inside the castle is news to us!
The ride is expected to be a “dark” ride. We’ll let you know when we learn more!
Other expansions will include meet-and-greet areas for the Disney Princesses as well as a recreation of Pixie Hollow, where Tinker Bell and her friends live.
Not only is Disney creating more magic around Beauty and the Beast in its theme park – it is also re-releasing the classic Disney Movie to theaters in 3D next year for it’s 20th anniversary.
