Reuters and Hollywood Reporter are reporting that Poppy Montgomery, from “Without a Trace,” and Marc Blucas, from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” will be lead characters in the upcoming ABC pilot series “True Blue.”
The show is about six former best friends, and police officers, who reunite to solve the murder of one of their friends.
Who’s planning on tuning in for the new ABC show?

Poppy Montgomery and Marc Blucas ? I will tune in!
I have been hoping Poppy Montgomery, my favorite TV actess, would get a new series real fast. Kudos to ABC for landing her. I hope this series delves more into mystery solving than romance though. That was always the best things about Without a Trace, and Cold Case, and Special Victims Unit, and CSI NY (my main TV watching) that it is centered on the mystery and not on the private lives and romances. Sure there is some of it, but not too much. The less the better.
I saw them filming the pilot for this show in San Francisco the other day, right near the Golden Gate Bridge.
