Based on the Disney-short from the movie Fantasia, Walt Disney Pictures is releasing a new movie called “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” on July 16, 2010.
The movie stars a list of famous actors, including:

- Jake Cherry

The movie is based in modern dan Manhatten, where the master sorcerer Balthazar Blake (played by Nicolas Cage) is trying to protect the city from his enemy Maxim Horvath (played by Alfred Molina).
But Balthazar can not defeat his enemy alone and must enlist the help of an apprentice, Dave Stutler (played by Jay Baruchel). Dave learns a bit of magic from Balthazarand together they must struggle against the evil that is Maxim’s character.
