Disney changed the name of it’s upcoming movie based on the story of “Rapunzel” from “Rapunzel” to “Tangled.” In doing so they had to create a new logo to go along with the film – which you can check out above.
Some actors lending their voice to the animated movie include:
- Mandy Moore (as Rapunzel)
- Zachary Levy (as Flynn Rider)
- Donna Murphy (as Mother Gothel)
- David Schwimmer (as Father Sam)
- Gilbert Gottfried (as Cousin John)

Disney Interactive Studios recently announced a new family-freindly mystery party game called “Guilty Party.” The game is being developed exclusively for Wii.
Guilty Party is being developed by Wideload Games, Disney Interactive Studios’ Chicago development studio, and is set to release during the second half of this year.
Disney Interactive Studios describes the game:
“Guilty Party tells the thrilling tale of the Dickens Detective Agency as they solve crimes set in motion by the master criminal known as Mr. Valentine. Up to four players can solve crimes in a variety of locations all over the world to unlock the secrets of Mr. Valentine’s grand scheme.”
“Players step into the shoes of the Dickens family and work together to explore crime scenes and play mini-games to collect clues and interrogate suspects. Guilty Party transforms the Wii Remote™ into classic detective tools: a magnifying glass, a flashlight, a lock-pick, a fingerprint kit, and more. Players then discuss and piece together the clues in their detective notebooks to deduce the identity of the culprit.”
“The Dickens family tracks Mr. Valentine across the globe, from a high-speed train to a leaky aquarium to many other locations to solve new mysteries. Once the mysteries are solved, players can play again with a new set of clues, suspects and mini-games with a different experience every time. It takes more than quick reflexes to win, it also takes quick wits.”

The game can be played both cooperatively and competitively. Players choose a detective and take turns exploring the environment to uncover clues and discover the culprit’s identity. Once a player believes they have enough evidence, they can accuse their suspect and try to solve the case!
Tom Kang, studio head and general manager of Wideload Games said about Guilty Party: “Mysteries are one of the world’s most beloved forms of storytelling, and Guilty Party brings mysteries to Wii in a way that the whole family can play together. Everyone loves a good mystery, especially when they get to be the detective.”
Patrick Curry, game director at Wideload Games, added: “We’re packing an amazing amount of play-time into a single game. Guilty Party is a bit like a board game, since families can play each mystery over and over again and never have the same experience twice.”
Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing for Disney Interactive Studios says about the partnership between Disney and Wideload Games: “Wideload Games is a leader in unique creative games that keep players entertained and amused for hours. Guilty Party was a natural fit for Disney and the beneficial working relationship led to the highly creative studio joining our portfolio of talented studios.”

ABC News is set to cut over 20% of its staff – 300 to 400 jobs. Currently the division of the Walt Disney Company employs approximately 1,500 individuals.
David Westin, the President of ABC News, wrote in a memo to the employees that they were working on trying to anticipate changes in the market, rather than strictly respond to changes. He also wrote: “When we are finished, many job descriptions will be different, different skill sets may be required, and, yes, we will likely have substantially fewer people on staff at ABC News.”
ABC is offering voluntary separation packages to employees who choose to take them.
