Disney Dreaming Weekly Recap March 2, 2010

1. Last week was the first time we heard of Cody – the 3-year-old girl who cried because she loved Justin Bieber. Cody’s mom posted the video on YouTube and Cody was lucky enough to get to meet Justin in person!

2. David Archuleta’s memoir “Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance.” is releasing on May 4 – but is currently available for pre-order. The cover artwork for the memoir released, and you can check it out here.

3. The Jonas Brothers won the awards for Worst Band and Worst Album at the NME Awards – bummer!

4. A number of Toy Story 3 toys were announced at the Toy Fair in New York this February. See pictures of many of the new items here.

5. Miley Cyrus and Bret Michaels released a controversial song titled “Nothing To Lose.” Take a listen here and let us know if you think there’s anything wrong with the lyrics, or if you love the song!

6. Justin Bieber announced the track listing for his upcoming My World 2.0 album. The album hits stores and online on March 23, 2010.

7. Demi Lovato performed the song “We’ll Be A Dream” with the group We The Kings. Watch their live performance here.

8. Taylor Lautner drops the Max Steel movie to work on the Stretch Armstrong movie.

9. New screen shots from the upcoming Disney Interactive Studios video game Split/Second have been released. You can see them here.
