Walt Disney Company To Team Up With First Lady Michelle Obama

The Walt Disney Company will be teaming up with First Lady Michelle Obama to develop her “Let’s Move” campaign which promotes healthy lifestyles and nutrition.

Disney and Michelle will work to create a number of Public Service Announcements that feature Michelle and Disney Channel stars which talk about physical activity, healthy eating habits and more. The PSAs will target kids and families and will be run on a number of Disney platforms, including:

- The Disney Channel
- Disney XD
- Disney.com
- Radio Disney

You should expect to see these PSAs airing later in 2010.

Robert Iger, the President and CEO of the Walt Disney Company said about the campaign:

“Having been at the forefront of making healthier lifestyle choices appealing to kids and families, Disney is delighted to work with the First Lady to promote exercise, nutrition and healthy living.”
