The Emami Group has struck a deal with Disney Consumer Products to bring a collection of Disney-branded Back to School products to India.

Some of the Disney brands that will be on the products include:
- Hannah Montana
- Disney Princesses
- Jungle Book
- Disney/Pixar Cars
- Lion King
- Finding Nemo

Mohan Goenka, the Director of the Emami Group said about the collaboration:

“Bulk of Disney’s backpacks and bags to be marketed in India will be made in China and only a small percentage will be made in India. The products will be co-branded with the Emami logo and sold through our distributors. We are looking to make the Disney backpacks and bags a mass product from a premium product aimed at a niche segment.”
