Walt Disney Pictures “Old Dogs” Blu-ray And DVD Review And Giveaway

March 8, 2010 |  by

Let us just begin by saying that Robin Williams and John Trovolta are two of our favorite actors. Both have a way with the camera that is unlike most other actors and brings something very special to the movies both these funny men work on.

Trailer

Robin Williams and John Travolta teamed up for the first time in the Disney movie “Old Dogs.” In the movie, Robin and John play business partners who are working to strike a deal overseas. However, things get a bit out of hand when Robin’s character discovers he is a father – to twin 7-year-olds!

Daddy

When Robin meets his children, their mother leaves them with him for a couple weeks – but will Robin prove to be a good father?

We found the entire movie to be hilarious yet at the same time heartwarming. We loved Robin’s reaction to finding out he had kids and his attempts to show them he knew how to be a dad – including taking them to camp and doing everything in his power to make it to their birthday party.

The best parts in the film included Seth Green, who is one of our all-time favorite actors. He is brought on board to the same company project both John and Robin are working on, but things get a little out of hand when he is sent overseas to take care of the business there.

So, Seth finds his way back home, and heads to the twins birthday party – only to be caught in the gorilla enclosure at the zoo, which was the best moment of the movie!

Other celebrities who star in the film include:
- Kelly Preston
- Ella Bleu Travolta
- Conner Rayburn
- Matt Dillon
- Lori Loughlin
