Gary Weaver, the Senior Vice President of Administration, Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, will receive the Inter-Society’s 2010 Ken Mason Award at ShoWest – which is being held from March 15-18 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The award will be presented to Gary by Mark Christiansen, the Executive Vice President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution Operations, Paramount Pictures, as well as by the President of the Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation.
The award honors an individual who has made outstanding, long-term contributions that improve the motion picture experience.

Mark Christiansen said about Gary receiving the award:
“Gary Weaver and the team at The Walt Disney Studios have been leaders in the improvement of print quality and cinema presentation. He spearheaded innovative programs with recent Pixar titles and provided technical tips to projectionists. I salute Gary for his long history of supporting quality motion picture exhibition.”
